  13. Win95 has some great features and I'm glad there are folks not having 
  14. difficulties using it. I have installed and worked with many different OS 
  15. from DEC's RSTS, RSX and VMS , SCO XENIX/UNIX to MS/DOS and WIN31. It is 
  16. to be expected that a new OS will have problems and WIN95 is no exception.

  18. I have installed and removed WIN95 from my laptop, but have kept it on my 
  19. desktop box. It runs fine for a while and then just decides that my HD has 
  20. a virus and at boot up gives me the  "Your computer has a virus" message 
  21. and drops into DOS compatibility mode. The reason I'm in here tonight is 
  22. once again I'm trying to find an answer and I am having NO sucess. I guess 
  23. it's back to the CD and time to run setup again - (4th time since 
  24. installing in November!!!)

  26. As someone who is use to troubleshooting OS problems I have one major 
  27. complaint - the documentation is terrible - not hard to read or to 
  28. technical - just plain inadequate.

  30. I'm glad and don't doubt there are people using and enjoying WIN95 - I 
  31. like many of the features, but from my perpective the OS is unstable and 
  32. I'm looking forward to the next release hoping it my stablize the product.
